Indianapolis – Liv Becker A member of the University of Indianapolis women’s basketball team set a career-high score for UIndy on Saturday afternoon as they led the Greyhounds to a 73-50 victory over McKendry at “Pack The House” at Nicoson Hall. With the win, the Hounds improved her to 10-8 (6-4 GLVC) overall and Bearcat fell to her 7-10 (4-6 GLVC).
Entering the contest today, Becker’s career-high score so far is 16 points, which he set this season against Drury on January 7. Today she produced 21 points (56.3%) on her 9-of-16 shooting from the field, 8 rebounds and she had 2 steals, assists and blocks.

The Hounds started the game with a shot from behind the arc and had eight shots from deep position in the first 20 minutes. Meanwhile, McKendry struggled hard with his three points off his land and went ice cold at 0-7. Despite shooting eight short of him and his goal percentage high on the field in the first half, the Bearcats had UIndy take a comfortable 36–23 lead going into the break. Notably, Becker scored 12 points with a solid 5/8 mark from the field to give the Hounds the lead.
