PANAMA — Mandy Brink scored a career-high 35 points with 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals in women’s non-league basketball on Tuesday in a 68-54 win over the Southwest.
Brink scored 13 points in the first quarter as the Panthers (11-4, 7-0 CCAA D2 West) built a 21-14 lead. The Trojans (9-4, 3-1 CCAA D1 West) came back into the game 12-7 in the second quarter, just two points behind him at halftime.
Panama led 40–35 after 24 minutes, then Brink won 10-10 at the foul line to put the game away with 15 points in the fourth quarter.
Kaitlyn Horton added 15 points and 8 rebounds. Kylie Morgan she had 12 points. Hannah Shoman recorded 4 rebounds and 2 assists for the Panthers.
Reese Beaver led the Southwest with 21 points. Maddie McIntyre has her 12 points and her 13 rebounds. Kira Licker she recorded 10 points and 4 assists. Braja Bieber stole her twice.
“They are a decent team.” Panama head coach Dennis Hinsdale said. “We played really good defense.”

FREWSBURG — Randolph secured a 53-46 non-league win as four women scored in the third quarter at 13-2.
Skyler Herrington led the Cardinals (9-4, 4-0 CCAA D1 West) with 3 steals with 19 points to go. Kei Lapence recorded his 10 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Kaitlyn Stoor had 8 points and 7 rebounds. Payton Morrison had three assists and he had two steals. Quinn Pence had five steals and four assists.
