The Hawaii Career Expo on Wednesday connects job seekers with top employers in many states, including the City and County of Honolulu, at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.

Sponsored by Honolulu Star-Advertiser and hosted by Star Events, the free, in-person job fair allows employers and job seekers to connect in a safe environment.

Over 100 leading employers are looking for talented employees in Hawaii’s competitive job market. Participating employers include Pearl His Harbor Naval Shipyard, Naval Area Hawaii, Hawaiian Airlines, and his 17 divisions in the City and County of Honolulu.

Denise Ching, Director of Operations and Advertising, Star-Advertiser, said: “Hundreds of people left these events with life-changing career changes and jobs.”

According to the organizers, job seekers can learn about open jobs and have one-on-one conversations with corporate recruiters while handing out resumes.

The expo will include many top industries such as banking, healthcare, education and tourism.

The event runs from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Attendees can present their printed resume at the front door for free entry.
