It is natural to think that the job market will eventually recover, or at least stabilize, after the damage caused by the pandemic. But with a recession almost certainly imminent in 2023, there’s no reason to think the labor market will stabilize anytime soon.

But we can predict which employment sectors will revive and which will continue to grow over the next decade. Using current BLS stats, data-driven news site Stacker has compiled a list of the 30 jobs projected to grow the most by 2031.

In a September 2021 article on the fastest-growing jobs and careers in the next decade, Forbes estimated that the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) expects “153.5 million to 100 million jobs in the decade 2020-30. We are projecting an increase of 65.4 million jobs.” Create 11.9 million jobs. Health professionals such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, assistants, epidemiologists, personal care aides, medical administrators, professional teachers and nurses are expected to continue to grow as the baby boomer population ages and suffers serious health problems.
