Veteran middleweight contender Gabriel Rosado, 36, is still pondering his future in the sport.
Rosado has fought top boxer celebrities in his career.
In 2020, he lost to Daniel Jacobs in a controversial 12-round split decision.
He bounced back undefeated super-middleweight puncher Bektemir Melikdiev the following year with a dramatic one-pan knockout at full force.
Rosado is currently on a three-game losing streak with 26-16-1 and 15 knockout wins.
He returned to middleweight to lose a 12-round decision to Jaime Munguia. Then, in 2022, he returned to super-middleweight, losing to Shane Mosley Jr. by 10-round split decision and Ali Akhmedov by 10-round split decision in the Canelo Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin trilogy card.
At this point Rosado is unsure if he will fight again.
Rosado told DAZN, “After 17 years as a professional, a lot of dedication and a lot of sacrifice, it’s hard to define what happens to my career.
“Right now, I think it’s more of a mental challenge than a physical one. But I think it’s in the right space and I’m going to figure out what I want to do. I’m in the right place mentally and making decisions. I just need to put it down.”
“For the last 17 years, I’ve been on every TV station…you name it. Had a great time. Can’t wait to find out what’s next.”
