NORMAN — Oklahoma unleashed an aggressive onslaught that blew through Central Arkansas on Saturday.

He followed up the first bucket of the game with back-to-back 3-pointers for a solo 8-0 run to put the Sooners (8-3) up 14-4 heading into the game’s first media timeout.
The Groves poured in 19 of their 26 points in the first half, beating the previous career-high 23 points scored in Eastern Washington in the 2021 NCAA Tournament and pushing the Sooners to 52 points by halftime.
Sandwiched between last week’s physical tilt and next week’s game against Florida in Charlotte against No. 10-ranked Arkansas, the game played a role in building confidence in the Sooners’ final home game before the holidays.

The Sooners now prepare to head to Charlotte for the Jumpman Invitational, where OU will face the Florida Gators on Tuesday at 8:30 PM.
