Overbrook’s Devon Johnson scores 1000th career point in loss against Haddonfield – Boys basketball recap


Overbrook’s Devon Johnson recorded his 1,000th career point in a 60-27 win over Haddonfield at Pine Hill.

Johnson, who scored a team-high 13 points, reached a milestone in the first quarter. The Overbrook guard has now scored 1009 career points in his career, averaging his 19.5 points per game this season.

Sam Narducci was Haddonfield’s leading scorer with 15 goals and Nate Rolfing with 11. After a hotly contested first quarter, Haddonfield (10-3) scored a 10-0 shutout in the second quarter, giving him an 11-point lead at halftime. In the third quarter, Haddonfield was able to run his 27-for-3 to clinch the win.

Overbrook falls to 8-3.
