Plano East beats Lewisville, Udo sets career mark


The Lady Panthers are one win away from making the playoffs after defeating Louisville on Friday night.

Plano East is currently trailing 7-4 in Division 6-6A, tied for third place with Flower Mounds with three games to go. Semmoud and Destiny Jones posted his double-digit numbers for the Lady Panthers, with Udo adding his 14 and Jones adding his 12 as he won 60–27.

With the win, Plano East’s Ydar Loud surpassed 1,000 career points in his Plano East career. Next season he signed a contract to play in UTSA Senior was the Lady Panthers’ top scorer all season.

East moves to Plano next Tuesday. A win would secure his spot in the official playoffs for the Lady Panthers.

Another win for the Plano East Boys basketball team puts the District 6-6A championship in jeopardy.

The Panthers beat the Farmers in a strong third quarter, with Xavier Miller, Narit Chotikavanich and DJ Hall scoring in double figures for the East. He’s 8-1 in districts, and the East remains tied for first place with Plano.

This will lead to an epic clash when Plano East hosts Plano next Tuesday at 7pm.
