Record Crowd Watches Lefebvre Score First Career Goal on Pride Night as Petes Beat IceDogs 8-1

(Peterborough, Ontario) – On Saturday, Peetes hosted the Niagara Ice Dogs for Pride Night, provided by Scotiabank in support of Sport a Rainbow. Pete’s 3,862 fans, the third-largest regular in team history on record, his season’s crowd saw Pete wear his jersey with pride designed specifically to support his 2SLGBTQI+ community By doing so, I witnessed a big victory. The jersey was auctioned off during the game and all proceeds went to support Sports a Rainbow. Pete defeated the Ice Dogs by a score of 8-1.

Chase Lefebvre scored his first career goal and added an assist. Tucker Robertson, Brennan Osman, Jax Dubois, Conor Lockhart and Jonathan Melee all scored goals and assists, while Avery Hayes added two assists. Owen Beck scored the first as Pete and Sam Mayer also scored. Cam Gauvreau, Shawn Spearing, JR Avon and Chase Stillman all provided assists. Liam Sztuska was nearly unbeatable in the net for Petes stopping 34/35 to take his sixth win.

Tucker Robertson scores 23rd season with assists from JR Avon and Connor Lockhart

Jax Dubois scores fifth of the season with assists from Jonathan Melee and Chase Stillman

Second period:

(NIAG) Zachary Lavoie scored his 15th goal of the season thanks to assists from Alex Assadrian and Danielle Michaud

Brennan Osman scores 14th season goal with assists from Sean Spearing and Avery Hayes

Owen Beck scored first for Pete, assists from Avery Hayes and Brennan Osman for 16th of the season

Third period:

Jacques Dubois assists Jonathan Melee for his sixth shorthand of the season

Chase Lefebvre scores first career OHL goal, Cam Gauvreau assists first point for Pete

Conor Lockhart scores 16th season with assist for Tucker Robertson

Sam Mayer scored six goals in the season thanks to assists from Donovan McCoy and Chase Lefebvre
