Yet another local high school basketball player hit 1,000 career points this season as a Saguaro senior guard. Bonaparte too Visited the CDO on Monday night and achieved a feat with an 81-20 win.
Bonapart entered a game that needed 1 point to reach a milestone. She stole at least her five shots off the floor before making her jumper fadeaway at the baseline while getting fouled late in the first quarter, missing two free throws in the process. .

Three years ago, when Bonaparte was a freshman, the legend of Saguaro Alyssa Brown 932 points in one season Reach 2,094 as a junior.
Bonaparte got the chance to celebrate a memorable moment at Senior Night before his career at Saguaro came to an end.
“It was pure joy,” Bonaparte said of seeing her fadeaway go into the basket.

Bonaparte joined the team primarily after playing for the junior national team and did not score as a freshman, essentially playing only three seasons to reach the 1,000-point plateau.
She currently has 1,018 points in 108 games. She had 553 points going into the season.
“It wasn’t easy to get there. I’m a team player, so I didn’t want to rush,” she said. “It came naturally.”

Bonapart won the CDO with 19 points. Cassandra CoolidgeJr., surpassed Dorados by 21. Nelly Pondswas also a senior, and finished in 20th place.
Ponds scored 782 points in his career.
Coolidge is on track for over 1,000 points next season. She is 840.
