He dived in after running for the all-important NFL touchdown in Sunday’s 37-34 overtime win over the Las Vegas Raiders. A baby before being attacked by a teammate who joined the celebration.

But that was not all.

Mason continued to run down the end zone, cheering and celebrating with tens of thousands of 49ers fans at Allegiant Stadium. 49ers rookie his quarterback Brock his Purdy was by Mason’s side the entire time the two enjoyed a special moment together.

Not bad for Mr. Irrelevant and an undrafted free agent.

Mason’s 14-yard TD run with 2:17 left in the fourth quarter broke the 27-2 tie. The previous play was an incredible Christian McCaffrey run for 38 yards. This veteran wanted to score, but he was ecstatic to see his teammate score his first NFL TD.

It was a moment that showed how much it means to Mason and his teammates as the 49ers push for victory. And while it was his first touchdown, it certainly won’t be his last.
